THE DEMANDS OF A WOMAN ≈ Why Her Nagg...

KShs2,600.00 KShs2,000.00
When God formed woman, HE was not repeating Himself. HE was revealing another dimension of HIS glory. She was not made from the dust, but from living flesh—bone of bone, flesh of flesh—an expression of intimacy and intention. So, when the LORD made her, HE thought of completion, the finishing of man’s design. HE shaped her as a good thing, a true helper, an (ezer), and the embodiment of oneness—a living reminder that love and wisdom, are never meant to stand alone. She is not an afterthought; she is the divine exclamation point of creation. To awaken a woman is to embrace this truth: ‘she is extraordinary by design!’ For a woman, it is not enough that a man simply exists; he must embody essence. He must be intentional in love, faithful in trials, generous in spirit, and resilient in adversity. In the soul of a mature woman, lie four elemental demands—pillars upon which her love, trust, and future rest: Financial Security – The quiet fortress of stability. It is the assurance that tomorrow is safe, that her home is a sanctuary, that meals are shared without the shadow of worry, and that the burdens of life are managed with dignity. In this certainty, she finds rest. Emotional Support – The sanctuary of constant presence. It is the tender yet unshakable promise that when storms rage within or around her, she will not stand alone. A listening heart, a steady hand, and a voice of clarity form the lifeline that steadies her through life’s chaos. Consistent Attention – The daily hymn of love & appreciation. This is not grand gestures alone, but the steady rhythm of acknowledgement—the words, the gaze, the appreciation that re-affirms her worth, celebrates her individuality, and deepens the covenant of affection between her and her beloved. Future Guarantees – The anchor of tomorrow. She yearns to walk a path where today’s sacrifices bloom into tomorrow’s promises, where the bridge into the future is secure, strong, and shared. In this vision of continuity, she finds hope. It is essential, therefore, to cast aside the shallow dismissal of a woman’s voice as “mere nagging.” What often appears as a complaint may, in truth, be the unspoken language of longing—a soul crying to be heard, understood, and cherished. To love a woman is to lean in with discernment, to listen beyond her words, and to honor the delicate balance between her spoken and silent needs. This book is a journey into THE DEMANDS OF A WOMAN—an unveiling of the four sacred desires that every woman holds at her core. It is an invitation to men who seek not only to love, but to truly understand; not only to dwell with a woman, but to dwell within her heart. Enjoy!

The Interrupted Accountant: My Long J...

Philip Kinisu was born and spent his early years in rural Kenya. He counts among the few who navigated the transition from rural life to a successful world-class career in accounting and business consultancy, both as a practitioner and a leader. He came to prominence in his successive roles as Partner, Territory Senior Partner and finally as Chairman of the Africa Board in PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he worked for more than three decades from 1979 to 2014. These roles saw him scale the heights of professional accomplishments, leading teams to deliver on myriad technical assignments as well as manage a successful professional services business across sub-Sahara Africa. In his long career, he positively impacted many; he was not only a role model but also a mentor and trainer. He boasts directly contributing to seeking and implementing solutions to many socio-economic challenges that plague our world today. After his term at PwC, Kinisu offered himself to serve as Chairman, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) in Kenya, a role which did not end well for him. The dynamics of that non-providential assignment have doubtless proffered valuable lessons which have been well captured in the book. Kinisu is a private family man who prefers that his actions speak for themselves. He divides his time between his homes in Nairobi and Western Kenya.

"The author has pushed the frontiers of the book of Jonah beyond the commonplace message about a disobedient man learning his lesson from the belly of a fish in this extremely insightful book replete with aha moments. I would never have imagined that my Nineveh is not necessarily a geographical location, or considered mortuaries and funeral homes as mission fields! There is no dull moment in the book with the author’s characteristic voice very audible through the blend of literary styles from prose to poetry, hymns, catchy quotes, fun facts and scripture. Three words sum it all: authentic, captivating, and readable."
