Common Mistakes Regarding Prayer

KShs1,200.00
Formal prayer (salât) is the second pillar of Islam, and the most important of a Muslim's acts of worship. Prophet Muhammad () said: "The first of one's actions for which a slave of Allah will be held accountable on the Day of Judgement will be one's prayers. If they are correct and accounted for, then he (or she) will have succeeded (gained paradise); and if they are lacking, then he (or she) will have failed (lost paradise). If there is something defective in his (or her) obligatory prayers, the Lord () will say: See if My slave has any supererogatory prayers with which that which was defective in his (or her) obligatory prayers may be completed. Then the rest of his (or her) deeds wil be iudged in like manner." (At-Tirmidhi and others)

Brilliant, but broken by Innocent Baluge

KShs600.00
Six months ago, he vanished without a trace, a man whose life seemed a portrait of success. Now, he's a ghost haunting a hospital wing, his past a lie, his future a fading prognosis. The world knew him as a symbol of hope and prosperity. But his real story began far from the spotlights, in the war-torn villages of the Congo, where he was born in a bush, not a hospital. Joseph’s journey from a child of war to an academic prodigy in Paris was a testament to his ambition. Yet, the city of light was also a city of shadows, where a supposed savior, a man once revered as Mokonzi, became a cautionary tale. He was the golden ticket out, but his "help" came with a price, and the price was his freedom. Now, as visitors from his past threaten to shatter his carefully constructed lies, he is forced to confront the truth of his present, a truth as unforgiving as the disease slowly taking his life. This is the story of a man who fought his way out of the daily struggle of life and war, only to find himself trapped by the very ambitions that saved him. Will he find a way to make peace with his past, or will he die a brilliant but broken man, a secret buried with him forever?

ECHOES OF HER SILENCE: A journey Thro...

KShs1,200.00
Echoes of Her Silence is a deeply moving memoir that traces the quiet strength of a woman who refused to be broken by life’s storms. Through the intertwined themes of love, loss, faith, and rebirth, Beatrice Ochieng invites readers into the sacred spaces of her silence — where pain met prayer, and grief gave birth to grace. Set against the backdrop of her journey as a nurse, counselor, widow, and mother, the narrative unveils the raw realities of caregiving, heartbreak, and the search for identity after loss. From the final days of her husband’s illness to the haunting silence that followed his passing, Beatrice captures the profound weight of sorrow — and the divine whispers that led her back to life. But Echoes of Her Silence is not merely a story of grief; it is one of redemption and resilience. It chronicles how faith can become both an anchor and a light, how forgiveness can heal even the deepest wounds, and how purpose can emerge from the ruins of pain. Through her reflections, Beatrice reminds readers that silence is not emptiness — it is where God often speaks the loudest. Her story becomes a testimony of courage, compassion, and the unyielding beauty of a heart that still believes in hope.
