KShs1,600.00
A Global Classic for Mentors, Protégés, Legacy Builders, and World Shapers 📚 Back Cover Synopsis (Global Classic Edition) “He who casts a shadow never sees its length. Influence is measured by those who walk in your light.” There are books that inform. There are those that inspire. But Fabric of Influence & The Protégée dares to transform—to shape minds, rewire paradigms, ignite mantles, and awaken long-buried destinies. In this masterfully written, emotionally layered, and intellectually arresting global classic, Renja Erambo, a man forged in the fire of failure and crowned in the wisdom of experience, delivers a rare double-edged work: ✔ One blade cuts through the myths of power, fame, and title (Fabric of Influence) ✔ The other sculpts the soul of the becoming leader, the apprentice of greatness (The Protégée) “Influence, like fine fabric, is not thrown over shoulders—it is tailored in sweat, silence, and surrender.” With artistry that dances between modern intellect and Old World charm, Renja fuses African depth, Western wit, biblical elegance, and corporate realism—presenting a spiritual and strategic map for those born to lead, but wise enough to learn. 🎩 In This Book, You Will: Enter the Secret Rooms of Influence—where mantles are given, not grabbed Discover why presence outranks charisma, and character outlives reputation Learn how real protégés inherit fire not just favor Understand the emotional warfare of mentorship—jealousy, silence, correction, loyalty Find the lost keys of ancient wisdom: "He that kneels before wisdom rises among kings" Decode why mentorship without submission births orphans, not heirs Laugh, cry, and reflect through real-life stories, near-mythic metaphors, and soul-piercing humor 💬 Timeless Quotes from Within: “A crown fits best on a head once bowed in honor.” “Great mentors don’t clone—they cultivate." “Submission isn’t weakness—it’s a greenhouse for strength.” “If your influence doesn't outlive your breath, it was never influence—it was noise.” “To be mentored is to be measured. To be measured is to be made.” 🌍 Why This Book Matters Now: In a world obsessed with self-branding, viral quotes, and digital clout, true influence has become endangered. We have leaders without legacy, followers without fire, and institutions crumbling under charisma without character. Fabric of Influence & The Protégée is a call to return—not to old systems—but to ancient truths. It is a charge to build bridges between wisdom and youth, calling and covering, vision and virtue. Whether you're a CEO mentoring your next successor, a spiritual father shaping sons, or a young lioness navigating the jungle of leadership, this book doesn’t just speak to you—it walks with you. 📜 Final Word: “The finest fabric is never loud. It is felt before it is seen. Such is the nature of influence. And the protégé who masters this will not just wear greatness—they will weave it.” — Renja Erambo

A People Called the Agikuyu: Yesterda...

A People Called the Agikuyu: Yesterday and Today … and Tomorrow? Around A.D. 1000, a community of Bantu-Thagicu speakers left their Nyambene Hills area settlement in Igembe-Tigania, in present-day Meru country in central-eastern Kenya, in search of new homes. By A.D. 1400, this community had split into distinct, but closely related, Thagicu-speaking groups occupying a region running from Meru, through Embu and Kirinyaga to Murang’a. These groups were – from north to south – the Tharaka, Cuka, Embu, Mbeere, Gicugu, Ndia, and the Agikuyu. Gikuyu national consciousness goes back to the early 1400s. In the next 400 years, the Agikuyu would expand into Nyeri, Kiambu and parts of Nyandarwa – to occupy the land between the Four Mountains, namely Kirinyaga (Mount Kenya), Kia-Nyandarwa (the Nyandarwa Range), Kia-Njahi (Kilimambogo), and Kia-Mbiruiru (Ngong Hills). The British settler-colonialists, as they penetrated the interior of Kenya in the late 19th century, encountered the Agikuyu building fortified villages on the outskirts of the area that would grow into Nairobi. on the southern frontier – and stopped Gikuyu expansion in its tracks. What followed was the brutal and tragic drama of a war of conquest and inevitable resistance. The resistance was suppressed. But within the ensuing half century, the Mau Mau war of liberation would break out, and the Agikuyu and their Thagicu (now GEMA) cousins would suffer ruthless suppression by the mighty British Empire. This is the story of the Agikuyu, from their beginnings, through their encounter with foreign white rule, their contribution to Kenya’s liberation, and their mixed fortunes since Kenya’s national independence – what with their remarkable contribution to nation-building and economic development, but also their tragic experiences, including attempts at ethnic cleansing targeting them, their GEMA brothers and sisters and other communities in the 1990s, and also, most painfully, in 2007-8. The story is set against the historical background of the trans-Atlantic slave trade, the Scramble for and Partition of Africa, the struggles for the self-determination of African nation-states, as well as nation building in a brutal Globalized ‘New World Order” under the control of the Imperialist Western powers, The author, Paul Ngige Njoroge, studied literature at Makerere and Nairobi Universities. He has worked as a teacher and a book-publishing editor.

How do you mourn a love that still has a pulse? How do you heal when the past keeps breathing beside you? In It's Time to Let Go, Mamaa, Victoria Nicole Odero invites you into a story woven with aching tenderness, devastating mistakes, and the quiet, courageous act of choosing yourself. Elvis and Muthoni's love was never simple. It was urgent, it was tender, it was tragic — and it was broken long before either of them had the courage to admit it. Told in dual perspectives, this is not just a story of betrayal or heartbreak. It’s the story of what we inherit, what we lose, and the brutal, beautiful truth of what it means to finally let go. This book is for anyone who has stayed too long. For anyone who believed love could fix what history has already cracked. For anyone who needed to hear: your healing doesn’t require their apology. Raw, lyrical, and unflinchingly honest, this is not a story about staying. It’s a story about surviving — and starting over.
