Building Love Against the Rising Tide. Two architects. A forgotten blueprint. A coast on the verge of change. Maya Omondi is the "iron rule" of design, brilliant, precise, and guarded. Having built an emotional fortress after a devastating betrayal seven years ago, she relies only on the cold, unyielding certainty of concrete and steel. But when a prestigious eco-resort contract in Lamu demands a collaborative bid, her past walks straight back into her boardroom. Juma Ndlovu is the creative tide, fluid, organic, and deeply connected to his Swahili heritage. He is the man who vanished with a single note a lifetime ago, leaving Maya to pick up the pieces. Now, they are forced into the same studio to design the breathtaking Baobab Retreat. As they blend her brutalist structural piers with his organic canopy, the intense professional rivalry reignites an undeniable, long-suppressed passion.

Brief Synopsis of *One Step Through the Fire* *One Step Through the Fire* is a powerful and deeply human story about resilience, family responsibility, and the quiet courage required to confront life’s hardest challenges. Set in the dry hills of Kitui, the story follows Mwendwa, a young man weighed down by poverty, his mother Mueni’s failing health, and the burden of keeping his younger brother Kyalo in school. Overwhelmed by fear and self-doubt, Mwendwa struggles to believe he is capable of changing his family’s circumstances. Through the wisdom of his mother, the encouragement of Mwende, and the practical support of his friend Muli, Mwendwa learns that transformation does not begin with certainty or confidence. It begins with a single decision to move forward despite fear. As Mwendwa steps into an unfamiliar job opportunity, he discovers that what he once saw as a consuming fire is actually a refining force—one that shapes him into a stronger, more capable man. This inspiring story reminds readers that growth is often uncomfortable, progress is rarely perfect, and sometimes the bravest thing a person can do is take one step forward when everything inside them wants to retreat.

Mugathe mukora

It’s my first political fiction book. I have used literature at its best. I was inspired by the great book writer the late professor Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o. (May his soul rest in Peace). He used to write about, life, political and topical issues. I have seen an opportunity and I have grabbed it, to continue with educating, informing and entertaining our people. I’m giving voice to voiceless. Where Fiction can challenge power without direct confrontation. (when fiction challenges power, without firing a single bullet) I write Kĩorire Republic because silence had gone on too long. I saw a nation—real or imagined—where truth was buried beneath propaganda, where power was wielded not to uplift but to oppress. And I refused to let that story remain untold. I write because memory matters. Because the voices of mothers, youth, and elders deserve to echo beyond the walls of tyranny. President Mũgathe Mũkora asserted his dominance not through law, but through fear—rewriting the constitution with ink made from silence, fear and innocent blood. As stated, or reiterated I was inspired by the literary courage of Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, who taught us that language is not just a tool—it’s a weapon of liberation. Like him, I chose to write not just to entertain, but to educate and awaken. I saw literature as a mirror, a torch, and a drumbeat. And I use it to remind my people that even in the darkest regimes, resistance lives in stories. Kĩorire Republic is my offering to history. A warning to future leaders. A tribute to those who dared to remember. And a call to those still afraid to speak. The System Breaker by Tobias Otieno Ogola is an unrelenting nine-season political action thriller that follows the life of Tobias Raila, a man who was born in the fires of injustice on the shores of Lake Victoria in Mbita, one of the regions the story calls Helland. Tobias is not vengeful when government troops massacre his village, seize ancestral lands, and reduce his people to silence through systematic corruption. He goes to war with the very system. Tobias, having been conditioned by his uncle Jack in matters of survival, combat and covert operations, becomes a precision weapon, unmatched in lethality. In 81 episodes of ever-increasing hostility, he deconstructs 81 war ideologies, of jungle trackers and siege tacticians to cyber operatives, intelligence agents, and mercenaries of the world. But Tobias is more than a fighter. He is a shadow economist. A robber of plundered riches. A financial system ghost. His mission: Follow national resources embezzled Infiltrate elite networks Collapse corrupt infrastructures Give back embezzled funds to the citizens. What starts in Mbita goes global stretching between Nairobi and New York to expose the engine of modern corruption; debt traps, proxy wars, corporate exploitation, and political manipulation. Every season is surgically precise: Season 1: The fall of Mbita Season 2: Weaponization Season 3: The vigilante comes out. Season 4: Media warfare Season 5: Corporate dismantling Season 6: Judicial corruption Season 7: Global expansion Season 8: Elite collapse Season 9: Psychological endgame This work is dedicated to the late King Raila Amolo Odinga and to the Luo patriots who stood, fought, and in many cases fell in the struggle for justice, land, and dignity,to Tom Mboya, Argwings Kodhek, Robert Ouko, and to the countless unnamed whose sacrifices were never fully recorded; this story exists as both remembrance and resistance, a continuation of their defiance, and a declaration that the fight they carried through history has not ended, but has evolved into a new kind of war against systems that still deny people their rightful land, voice, and dignity.
