What if the deadliest diagnosis of your life became the greatest gift?

When Francis Njiraini—a devoted husband, father, and successful executive in Nairobi—was suddenly diagnosed with aggressive cancer, everything stopped. The future he had planned for his young family felt uncertain, and the question “Why me?” echoed in the quite hours.

Yet in the midst of fear, treatment far from home, and the raw uncertainty of survival, something unexpected unfolded. Through unwavering faith, the fierce love of his wife and children, and moments of profound clarity, Francis discovered what he now calls the 7 Priceless Gifts—truths about divine guidance, unconditional love, purpose, resilience, and eternity, revealed not in spite of cancer, but because of it.

One Christian Man’s Journey to Beat Cancer is a deeply personal memoir of walking through the valley with honesty and hope. It is the story of a man who refused to let a devastating diagnosis define his life—and who emerged five years in remission with a renewed calling to inspire fathers, families, and anyone facing an uncertain road.

This is not a medical manual or a promise of easy answers. It is a testimony of grace in the fire, reminding us that even the hardest journeys can lead to deeper faith, stronger love, and a life of lasting purpose.

Francis Njiraini is a husband, father of three, and technology executive whose life was profoundly reshaped by a cancer diagnosis. Now five years in remission, he lives in Nairobi with his wife, Kuhi, and their children—Renee, Angelina, and Ryan. Through his story, Francis seeks to encourage others especially fathers, to face adversity with faith, courage, and the priceless gifts no diagnosis can take away.

Description

What if the deadliest diagnosis of your life became the greatest gift?

When Francis Njiraini—a devoted husband, father, and successful executive—was diagnosed with aggressive cancer, his world stopped.

The plans he had carefully built.
The future he imagined for his family.
The sense of control he had always known.

All of it vanished in a single moment.

What followed was not just a medical battle, but a deeply personal journey through fear, faith, surrender, and transformation.

One Christian Man’s Journey to Beat Cancer is not a clinical guide or a collection of medical advice. It is the true story of a man who stood face-to-face with mortality—and discovered that the most powerful healing often begins on the inside.

As treatments began and uncertainty grew, Francis was forced to confront questions many of us avoid.
• What really matters when everything else falls away?
• How do you lead your family when you’re afraid?
• What does faith look like when the outcome is unknown?
• Can purpose exist even in suffering?

Through prayer, reflection, and the unwavering love of his family, Francis began to see his journey not as a punishment—but as an invitation.
An invitation to grow.
To surrender.
To trust.
And to receive what he now calls the 7 Priceless Gifts.

Inside these pages, you’ll discover:

• How crisis can clarify what truly matters most
• Why faith isn’t about certainty—but about courage
• The quiet power of family, presence, and perseverance
• How to find meaning even when the path feels unfair
• What it means to live fully, even when the future feels fragile

This is not a story of denial or false positivity.
It is a story of honesty, endurance, and grace in the face of the unknown.
Whether you are facing illness yourself, supporting someone you love, or simply searching for hope during a difficult season, this book offers companionship and perspective.

It reminds us that healing doesn’t always mean a cure—and that some of life’s most profound gifts arrive disguised as trials.

Francis Njiraini is a husband, father of three, and technology executive whose life was profoundly reshaped by a cancer diagnosis. Now five years in remission, he lives in Nairobi with his wife, Kuhi, and their children—Renee, Angelina, and Ryan. Through his writing and speaking, Francis seeks to encourage men and families to face life’s hardest moments with faith, courage, and hope.

If you or someone you love is walking through uncertainty, this book is a reminder that you are not alone, you are not without hope, and your story is far from over.

Having been a caregiver for a cancer patient before, this was a go to book to read first hand experience of someone who was victorious. Francis narrates his story in such good detail allowing you to journey with him as he shares valuable lessons that one can take away and apply in life. It’s also wonderful to learn how he journeyed with faith and truly emerged victorious. Definitely a recommended read not just for someone looking for a victorious story but also caregivers looking for encouragement.

Francis Njiraini is an engaging story-teller. He has intertwined his deeply personal journey through pain and victory with intriguing insights about his life and travel experiences.

In a thoughtful manner he seamlessly incorporates biblical wisdom and profoundly articulates his faith while presenting his 7 priceless gifts which encompass life-changing lessons.

An amazing and moving book that captures Francis journey through Project Victory and his unrelenting resolve to heal inwardly and physically. The book is very emotional and well written. I witnessed his journey, yet the book was captivating – a page turner to the end. The 7 priceless gifts can be applied in life to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges. Indeed, we give God the glory for this journey and this book.

1938: Hitler’s Gamble

Books, International Bestsellers
KShs999.00 KShs950.00
In this masterful narrative, acclaimed historian Giles MacDonogh chronicles Adolf Hitler’s consolidation of power over the course of one year. Until 1938, Hitler could be dismissed as a ruthless but efficient dictator, a problem to Germany alone; after 1938 he was clearly a threat to the entire world. It was in 1938 that Third Reich came of age. The Führer brought Germany into line with Nazi ideology and revealed his plans to take back those parts of Europe lost to “Greater Germany” after the First World War. From the purging of the army in January through the Anschluss in March, from the Munich Conference in September to the ravages of Kristallnacht in November, MacDonogh offers a gripping account of the year Adolf Hitler came into his own and set the world inexorably on track to a cataclysmic war. The results for hundreds of thousands of women have been career opportunities they never thought possible-at every stage of their career, from entry-level to the corner office! Stop making "nice girl" errors that can become career pitfalls, such as: Mistake #13: Avoiding office politics. If you don't play the game, you can't possibly win. Mistake #21: Multi-tasking. Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should do it. Mistake #54: Failure to negotiate. Don't equate negotiation with confrontation. Mistake #70: Inappropriate use of social media. A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini

Books, International Bestsellers
KShs1,900.00 KShs1,590.00
A Thousand Splendid Suns is a breathtaking story set against the volatile events of Afghanistan's last thirty years—from the Soviet invasion to the reign of the Taliban to post-Taliban rebuilding—that puts the violence, fear, hope, and faith of this country in intimate, human terms. It is a tale of two generations of characters brought jarringly together by the tragic sweep of war, where personal lives—the struggle to survive, raise a family, find happiness—are inextricable from the history playing out around them. Propelled by the same storytelling instinct that made The Kite Runner a beloved classic, A Thousand Splendid Suns is at once a remarkable chronicle of three decades of Afghan history and a deeply moving account of family and friendship. It is a striking, heart-wrenching novel of an unforgiving time, an unlikely friendship, and an indestructible love—a stunning accomplishment.

The Shelters of Stone

The Shelters of Stone opens as Ayla and Jondalar, along with their animal friends, Wolf, Whinney, and Racer, complete their epic journey across Europe and are greeted by Jondalar’s people: the Zelandonii. The people of the Ninth Cave of the Zelandonii fascinate Ayla. Their clothes, customs, artifacts, even their homes—formed in great cliffs of vertical limestone—are a source of wonder to her. And in the woman Zelandoni, the spiritual leader of the Ninth Cave (and the one who initiated Jondalar into the Gift of Pleasure), she meets a fellow healer with whom to share her knowledge and skills. But as Ayla and Jondalar prepare for the formal mating at the Summer Meeting, there are difficulties. Not all the Zelandonii are welcoming. Some fear Ayla’s unfamiliar ways and abhor her relationship with those they call flatheads and she calls Clan. Some even oppose her mating with Jondalar, and make their displeasure known. Ayla has to call on all her skills, intelligence, knowledge, and instincts to find her way in this complicated society, to prepare for the birth of her child, and to decide whether she will accept new challenges and play a significant role in the destiny of the Zelandonii.Jean Auel is at her very best in this superbly textured creation of a prehistoric society. The Shelters of Stone is a sweeping story of love and danger, with all the wonderful detail—based on meticulous research— that makes her novels unique. It is a triumphant continuation of the Earth’s Children® saga that began with The Clan of the Cave Bear. And it includes an amazing rhythmic poem that describes the birth of Earth’s Children and plays its own role in the narrative of The Shelters of Stone. ISBN:2147483647 Author:Jean M. Auel
