You’re Not Alone, Mama
First, let me say this: if you’ve been feeling sad, tired, or not like yourself since having your baby, you are not broken. You are not failing. You are not alone.
Motherhood is often shown as smiles, cuddles, and joy. And yes, those moments are real. But there’s another side many moms don’t
talk about: the exhaustion, the tears, the emptiness, and the guilt that sometimes shows up after giving birth.
Here’s the truth: about 1 in 7 moms experience postpartum depression (according to the American Psychological Association).
That means if you were in a room with 14 new moms, chances are two of them are feeling the same way you are right now.
So if your days feel heavy, if you cry without knowing why, or if joy seems far away, you’re not strange. You’re not weak. You’re one of many strong women facing a challenge that deserves compassion and care.
