The Nubian Princesses is a UK-based children’s educational brand founded by Rene Bissohong. We create culturally affirming African princess dolls, children’s books and learning resources designed to build confidence, cultural pride and positive identity in young children.
Our mission is to help children see themselves positively reflected in the stories they read, the toys they play with and the learning experiences they enjoy. The Nubian Princesses is now developing partnerships with booksellers, schools and educational organisations in Kenya and across East Africa.
