Vendor Biography

The author is an accountant turned public health specialist who has spent the last 20 years navigating multiple career transitions – from finance to operations, and ultimately to promoting access to healthcare for underserved communities affected by neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). His work has taken him from Amudat in Uganda to Konso in Southern Ethiopia, Rio de Janeiro to Cartagena, Vienna to Lisbon, Kuala Lumpur to New Delhi, and many more places in between, each journey offering rich material for his stories.

Over a 15-year period, he travelled to Geneva nearly three times a year, making the city feel like a second home. It is not just the location of his organization’s headquarters, but a familiar place of routine, reflection, and connection. Whether over coffee, wine, or a delicious meal, he relishes every opportunity to meet new people and learn their stories. For him, a city is discovered by walking and observing and conceding a momentary defeat when lost. He believes that the soul of a place lies not in its landmarks, but in its people and the fleeting, unguarded moments that define its spirit.

Beyond his professional life and literary passions, he is also a budding chef, drawn to the magic of ingredients transforming into memory on a plate. He dreams of one day directing films and curating an art gallery – a space where stories, visuals, and lived experiences converge.

Winds of Memory is his first collection of stories, born from a lifetime of travel, personal reflection, and a deep curiosity about the world and the enduring connections we make along the way.
