Fast forward Tragedy strikes and he isn’t the perfect child anymore. He still keeps the peace but smiles a lot less and speaks a little softer. Everyone jumps in the wagon and tries to wheel him toward the light at the end of the tunnel, but he’s a boy with a mountain to climb. Nothing prepares us for what is about to happen It’s not the end we hope for. And I have come to realize there are two endings in life, as it is in movies, jobs, sports, vacations, children, and books; the ending you want, and the ending you get.
