Athletes of Kenya (AoK) is a Kenyan sports-history, publishing and knowledge platform dedicated to documenting, preserving and sharing the stories of Kenya’s athletes.

Our work brings together historical research, verified sports information and athlete-first storytelling to create books, reference works and other products that celebrate Kenya’s sporting heritage.

Our first major publication, Kenyans at the Olympics, documents Kenya’s Olympic journey through the athletes who represented the country, their performances, achievements and the history surrounding them.

Through our publications, Athletes of Kenya aims to make Kenya’s sporting history accessible to readers, students, researchers, sports enthusiasts and future generations.
