Judith Oketch is an award-winning social entrepreneur, author, and women’s health and gender specialist who grew up in Kibra and has dedicated her career to building practical solutions for underserved communities. She is the Co-founder and CEO of Ambulex Solutions, a technology-enabled emergency medical response company that connects families to community-based first responders, ambulances, hospitals, maternal health support, and survivor-centred gender-based violence services. She was named among Business Daily Africa’s Top 40 Under 40 Women in 2025 and recognised as one of StArfrica’s Top 10 Faces Changing Africa – Kenya Women Edition in 2025. Beyond her work in healthcare, Judith writes bold, thought-provoking books that challenge society’s inherited ideas about race, marriage, education, religion, power and inequality, using research, humour and distinctly Kenyan storytelling to make difficult conversations accessible.
