Vendor Biography

Writing is a talent identified and nurtured by my high school English and literature teacher. I’ll forever be grateful to her. Actually, I would say all my English teachers right from primary school contributed to my writing skills. Like a magnificent castle, they all laid a cornerstone and worked on the project to a fine finish. I since developed a passion for writing especially on topical areas with clear lessons or messages. Lessons combined with entertainment are my preferred style.
I am a teacher by profession. My subjects are economics and business studies which I taught for ten years in high school. But don’t be fooled. I am certainly not economical with words. At present, I am a civil servant in the Ministry of Education, Directorate of Quality Assurance and Standards. Much of my work involves involves writing as we develop national policies on education.
I have published fiction and educational books for young learners, senior students and adults. Jey, as some call me is proudly Kenyan, loves the wild and life at the equator. I enjoy thrilling experiences just as much as I enjoy dispensing thrill and suspense.
