I’m Irene Wambui — a writer, teacher, unapologetic church girl, and relentless believer in Africa’s untapped greatness.

I was born in Laikipia, Kenya, and spent my childhood at the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, falling in love with its snow-capped peak and the wide African skies that seemed to whisper that destiny was bigger than I imagined.

Now, I’m in the big city — still chasing purpose, and yes, chasing the bag too (even Paul had to make tents). But deeper than all of that, I’m chasing meaning.

Two books, countless lessons, and endless late nights of doubt and hope later, I can say with boldness: words saved me. And now, I’m on a mission to make sure they save someone else too.
