Vendor Biography
Felgonah Oyuga is a writer, columnist, social commentator, and public speaker whose work sits boldly at the crossroads of humour, healing, and rebellion. Known online as “The Marriage Dropout,” she is loved for her unfiltered storytelling about love, culture, and womanhood — especially the things African women were never taught to say out loud.
She is the author of OK, I Am Healed Now, Send Me Another Man – Dating Intentionally After Divorce, Things I Wish They Told Me: How to Enjoy a Relationship with an African Man, and several journals and creative projects that invite women to laugh, reflect, and reclaim their power.
Through her columns, talks, and TikTok Live sessions, Felgonah dismantles the myths that keep women small — from the idea that forgiveness is peace to the lie that endurance is strength. Her voice is raw, sassy, and deeply relatable, blending humour and truth in equal measure.
When she’s not writing or speaking, Felgonah can be found curating bold new ventures — from journals to colouring books — all grounded in the same belief: that African women deserve joy, pleasure, and the freedom to live audaciously.
She lives between words, ideas, and conversations — always barefoot, always laughing, and always telling it as it is.
