UNPLUGGED II
FORGING PROSPEROUS, SOLIDIFIED MEN
Marriage rates are dropping, and divorce rates are shooting up. The new world order is making men weaker and feminine and making women stronger and masculine, effectively making each gender terrible for the other.
What is the masculine frame? What are the kinds of beliefs, habits and mindsets that emasculate men? What is it that is stopping men from leading purposeful, prosperous lives characterized by healthy, fulfilling relationships and families?
What are some cold, hard truths men must embrace to forge the psychological infrastructure that can make them obtain financial success, navigate relationships and become fulfilled people in the new social order?
Why do men value respect from their women so much, and how do men get that respect and maintain it? Many ‘woke’ women today say that marriage is slavery. Is it? And is it slavery to men or to women?
Why is it that in 2021, when a mine collapsed on Tom Okwach, the government called off the rescue operation on the fourth day, saying they had run out of fuel, leaving him to die? Yet, the same government marshalled all resources, including foreign governments, for thirteen days to retrieve the body of a woman who had slipped from a ferry in Likoni and fell in the Indian Ocean? Why the uneven treatment?
What does it say about the value of a man’s life today?
Can a man harness his sexual energy to pursue higher goals and experience higher levels of consciousness?
We look at all these questions plus more as we plumb the depths of manhood, provide men with tools for managing modern relationships, and ground themselves solidly in an increasingly gynocentric world that regards masculinity as toxic and encourages men to be compliant to the feminine imperatives and suppress their masculine instincts.
UNPLUGGED II is about unplugging men from beliefs that emasculate them and setting them firmly on the path of advancing relentlessly to become full-stack, purposeful, prosperous men of steel.

Unplugged 2 by Jacob Aliet hit me in a way few books I’ve read in the recent past ever have. Having read Unplugged 1, I thought I understood the core message around my masculinity and self-awareness, but this second book took off the gloves on me. It deeply spoke to me with a kind of ruthless honesty that left no room for self-deception or self-pity. Whereas Unplugged 1 helped me see the patterns shaping my masculine identity, Unplugged 2 has forced me to literally confront them head-on, especially the subject of burden of performance. Damn! This book has exposed how much of my drive, discipline and even self-worth had been rooted in proving myself rather than truly knowing myself. At times the book felt uncomfortably personal, as if it was narrating parts of my life I hadn’t fully admitted to myself yet. But that’s okay; I expected nothing less.
MENTAL POINT OF ORIGIN – Unplugged 2 speaks vividly on this to me in such a relentless way. I am challenged to stop outsourcing my emotional stability, motivation, and sense of identity to external validation, relationships, or circumstances. I have recognized how often I’ve lived reactively – responding to expectations instead of consciously choosing my direction. I see this in the book not just like something framed as an inspiration of sorts, but a responsibility I must own: if I want more freedom, clarity, and grounded masculinity, I have to claim authorship over my inner world. More than anything, Unplugged 2 didn’t just inform me – it mercilessly confronted me, disrupted me and clarified the changes I need to make, for me and my family. Largely in most sections in it, how I see myself as a man and a father have been reshaped, with a higher, non-negotiable standard for how I intend to live going forward set.
Thank you Jacob!

I liked UNPLUGGED 2 more than 1, I feel it has more context, it’s more direct and has action points for men. One of my biggest takeaways is that I can be able to smell BS from far.
I am looking forward to UNPLUGGED 3.

I liked UNPLUGGED 2 more than 1, I feel it has more context and is more direct, has action points for men to forge themselves into better men for themselves. My greatest takeaway is I can now be able to smell BS from a mile away, that helps a man to level up.
I am looking forward to UNPLUGGED 3.

After reading UNPLUGGED 1, I like UNPLUGGED 2 even more. I feel it has more context and is more direct, and includes action points for men to better themselves. One of the biggest takeaways from the book is that I am now able to smell BS from a mile away. Now I have the blueprint to forge forward.
I am looking forward to UNPLUGGED 3.

Thank you so much Aliet.
I must say that I am very lucky to have read this book this early.
I am 24 and confident to say that this is the most valuable book I have ever read. I only wish to have read it in my first year in the university.
Any young man out there who hasn’t unplugged from the comforting lies and gynocentric views 9f the world we were fed while growing up is headed for a traiwreck.
This book gives a clear blue print that any young person, especially men, can follow to become a full-stack superman.
I am giving this book a 5 star
Reasons:
1. Aliet’s writing style is extraordinary. I love how he combines fiction and nonfiction to bring out strong solid points
2. How he boldly tackles the most controversial topics in the society today, such as men being the disposable gender, single motherhood, feminism, mordern marriages and relationships.

I just love Jacobs books he is so knowledgeable and this kind of mentors our young boys needed for a long time,
Davy Muasya –
I have never read a book six times. This one is the first, surpassing the five times I have read Failing forward by John Maxwell and four times Ive done Atomic Habits by James Clear
JOEL GITAU –
This is a book every married woman should buy for their hubby. This is because Jacob Aliet “didn’t write” the book. I see a hidden hand of a caring woman who want his “stagnated” man to “take his mat and walk” did the original manuscript at the backstage. I am at page 101 and he asserts that real men should take cold showers….I mean, in unplugged 1 he was paid by a man to do the script, so far for unplugged 11 he’s has taken the “lecturer”mode to men. Who has paid Jacob Aliet to be a prefect and lecturer to men?
Good bitter lessons though….let me continue reading….

I read this book of the long weekend and couldn’t put it down! I love the simplicity in writing and how Jacob weaves stories and narratives to deliver cold hard truths. All men, young and old MUST read this. I particularly enjoyed with the section on:
“When to sacrifice your queen”. It’s surreal!! Jacob has outdone himself.
Below are my top 10 key take aways
1. You must be willing to lose it all if you are to gain everything.
2. Sacrifice is the journey of masculinity
3. To elevate you often have to separate
4. Everything a man wants is always outside his comfort zone.
5. But for him to settle down with her would mean he had to give up his purpose
6. Why then, would you choose to be unsuccessful to make a woman happy?
7. Your value as a man is based on your success. Your purpose. Make it come first. Make it your future
8. You need a queen who will be an asset, not a liability.
9. If she is unwilling to support your purpose and help you succeed, you are tying yourself to a wagon that is going in the opposite direction. You will struggle.
10. As Kenny Roger says in his song *The Gambler*, know when to hold them and know when to fold them.
