Whispers in the Savannah by Kibali Tillas

Sometimes, the quietest places hold the loudest lessons. When Otis moves from the busy city to a small village in the heart of the savannah, he never expects the journey will change him forever.

In Whispers of the Savannah, Book One in The Footprint Series, he must navigate a world that feels entirely unfamiliar—where the pace is slower, the surroundings are new, and the question of where he belongs lingers quietly within him. But with his sister Achieng and best friend Katwe by his side, Otis begins to discover something unexpected—that change can be beautiful, friendship can spark courage, and even the quietest places can hold the greatest lessons.
